Juan Diego Shoobridge is a biologist specialized in ecology, educated at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima. His deep connection to the Amazon began in childhood, exploring the forests of Tambopata alongside his father, Diego Shoobridge, a communicator and longtime advocate of rainforest conservation and one of the early contributors to Rainforest Expeditions’ story. Juan Diego is passionate about photography, conservation, and the unique perspective gained from exploring the forest canopy. An experienced climber and field researcher, he brought his expertise to Wired Amazon, where he helped integrate science, technology, and ecotourism. His work continues to inspire efforts to protect the Amazon through meaningful scientific engagement and storytelling.
