Wendy and Joshua Villanueva were the discoverers of this new species for science named Watsonidia fulgida. They found the Rainforest Expeditions through the website and when they were in Refugio Amazonas it was their guide Saul Cusihuallpa who encouraged them to make the activity with the biologists of Wired Amazon. Wendy and Joshua, these two Peruvian friends, visited us from July 14 to 17 and on July 15 they were lucky enough to discover this new species. Thanks, Wendy and Joshua.
