PHINEAS SAMUEL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM REVIEW

While volunteering here at Wired Amazon I learned a lot about the research being done in the Tambopata Rainforest Reserve. I helped with three of the major projects underway including the Macaw project, the 8 primates project and the new species moth project. I gained skills such as mapping with GPS, identifying animals and living in the Amazon. I also got to meet many interesting people passionate about animals in the environment.

This research centre was full of great researchers and guest and I enjoyed learning from them and hearing about their experiences. The variety of activities and experiences was a highlight for me making my time full and enjoyable. Volunteering at Wired Amazon has been an amazing and memorable part of my life.
